Data processing agreement

When your business uses SoundMe, we process some personal data on your behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). This is how.

Subject and duration

We process personal data of your staff and users (names, email addresses, roles, sign-in and usage data) solely to provide SoundMe, for as long as your subscription runs.

Our obligations

We act only on your documented instructions (the contract and the settings you choose).
Everyone with access is bound to confidentiality.
We protect the data with appropriate technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access control, EU hosting, backups).
We help you answer data-subject requests and report personal-data breaches without undue delay.
At the end of the contract we delete the data unless the law requires us to keep it.

Sub-processors

Hosting and storage (EU), email delivery, payments (Stripe). We inform you about changes in advance; you may object for good reason.
